Online Cyber Security Courses

Cyber security has become an indispensable necessity for governments around the world. With the growing number of cyber attacks upon critical infrastructures and governmental systems it has now become imperative to develop cyber security capabilities.

India is increasingly facing the threats of cyber warfare due to absence of cyber security capabilities in India. Cyber security in India cannot be improved till we strengthen the cyber security scenario in India. We need to develop a cyber security policy of India and strictly follow the same for better results.

Another related area where India must pay attention is the cyber security skills development. Cyber security skills development in India is still not up to the mark. There are very few educational institutions in India that are providing cyber security courses in India. Even few are those institutions that provide online cyber security courses in India.

National Skill Development Authority Of India

Indian education system has failed to deliver what is needed in the present dynamic and highly competitive environment. With the national boundaries opening to world at large, adequate skills are required to meet the global demands.

Naturally India is facing many difficulties to cope up with the requirements to manage various tasks that require domain specific expertise. This is so because our educational system has failed to keep pace with the present times.

Skills development in India is urgently needed to manage these issues. A special emphasis must be given techno legal skills development in India that is presently missing. Till our educational systems are able to cope up with these qualitative demands, we must stress upon use of distance learning for skills development in India.

Further, virtual campuses in India can also fill the skill gaps that we are currently facing. PTLB e-learning platform is providing techno legal courses and trainings in India that aims at inculcating skills among the masses.

Meanwhile, the Indian government is planning to overhaul the National Skill Development Council (NSDC) and planning to convert it into a National Skill Development Authority (NSDA).

The key advantage of this arrangement would be that NSDA would have the power to draw funds from the government and spend it with the states and other partner agencies, which is not possible presently. This scheme would maintain the three-tier structure that also includes the National Skill Development Corporation.

The Indian government is planning to provide around Rs 40,000 crore in over five years to provide skill to around 3 crore people during the period. The government will also partner with private sector to implement the ambitious scheme.

This is a good step in the right direction and Perry4Law and Perry4Law Techno Legal Base (PTLB) welcome this move of Indian government.

Skills Development In India Needed

India has a vast population of young, unskilled and unemployed people. A major reason for this sad situation is lack of vocational, practical and skill development initiatives in India. Whether it is school level education or college or higher education, the nature of Indian education is purely academic. This does not serve any purpose except adding to the pool of unemployed educated youths in India.

Indian government has a tremendous job in hand to change this situation. In order to be successful Indian government has to eliminate the factors that are responsible for this situation. For instance, India has one of the lowest populations of students that opt for higher education. Even if some courageous people opt for courses like PhDs the vast spread corruption, lack of transparency and non accountability results in abandonment of such PhDs.

So form legal framework to policy everything is going in the wrong direction in India. In this background the initiative to impart skills development to under graduate and graduate students would be a mammoth task for Indian government.

This is the situation for traditional academic courses. The position for vocational and professional courses and studies is even worst that that. Except few top class institutions in India, professional and vocational studies are not provided in India. Due to governmental monopoly private players are not being able to enter into educational field. Even the existing legal frameworks in this regard are not conducive for foreign direct investments (FDIs) and opening of educational and training institutions in India.

Techno legal areas like cyber law, cyber security, cyber forensics, ethical hacking, etc are worst affected. In the name of technical education mere academic diplomas and degrees are provided that are not helping the students in any manner whatsoever.

Perry4Law, Perry4Law Techno Legal Base (PTLB) and Perry4Law Techno Legal ICT Training Centre (PTLITC) believe that information and communication technology (ICT) can help Indian government in achieving the goals set by it regarding skills development. For instance, use of e-learning, online education and distance learning education system can not only ease the pressure from traditional universities and educational institutions but would also help in providing technical and practical education to masses across India.

Perry4Law, PTLB and PTLITC are providing exclusive techno legal e-learning courses in India and techno legal skills development trainings and courses in India. Further, PTLB is also managing the exclusive techno legal centre for lifelong learning in India that is providing techno legal continuing legal education in India.
